Making a really secure and memorable password can be easy!

Despite what you may have been told before, the most important part of making a secure password is length . This means that if we make our password long enough, we don't have to use complicated and/or completely random characters.

Instead, we can use short pass-phrases that invoke imagery and/or have special meaning to us.

Examples:

Here are 3 passwords that seem strong enough but would actually be cracked in less than 5 minutes :

• Hunks2017$
• CHHJR0cks!
• C0ll3ge-Hunks

Here are 3 passwords that are strong enough but are harder to remember:

• Aq3%Br4^ (about 30 years to crack)
• !dx8Emg? (about 4 years to crack)
• Bcs+nn%q (about 4,000 years to crack)

Here are 3 passwords that are extremely strong and easier to remember:

• Angry monkey keys 5 BMWs (about 85,000,000,000 years to crack)
• Beach.Sangria.Sunset. (about 46,000 years to crack)
• Obama+throwing+rubber+chicken (about 59,000,000 years to crack)
